Baby Dragon in Cornflowers

I actually planned to do a batik of a Heron, as we have herons in the village. They like to fish in the Corn Mill lower pond and the River Pow which runs through New Abbey but as I started to wax the design, I changed my mind (as sometimes happens) and I wanted to put the cornflowers in the picture because there were so many in the garden at the time and I love their raggedy petals.

 So, end result, new hatched baby dragon, tottering first steps, hanging onto cornflowers for support- and tons of artistic license.
