Three of my most recent batik pictures. From Spring to Autumn I work in my shed outdoors, except on those occassional wet and windy Galloway summer days. Working outdoors I have natural light and inspiration from the twitter, flutter, hum and buzz of the wildlife and busy village around me.

   
 Not as grand as a studio, and maybe too small to be a workshop, 'workshed' perhaps? This is where I work spring to autumn, in touch with the outside world and when I get 'batiker's block', gazing at the view of the hills Knochendock and Criffel over the garden wall give me inspiration. The picture is 'Llamas in the Loch', another new batik inspred by the non-native but very welcome Llama's which live in various locations locally and throughout Dumfries and Galloway.
